10/14/2008 - Columbia, MO (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The University of Missouri has signed baseball coach Tim Jamieson to a contract extension that will keep him at the school through the 2013 season.
Jamison is 480-329-2 through 14 seasons with the Tigers. He's just two victories shy of climbing into second place on Mizzou's all-time wins list.
The Tigers have made it to the NCAA Tournament seven times under Jamieson. That includes each of the last six seasons.
"I would like to thank the administration for all of the support it has shown to me and to our program," Jamieson said. "With the six straight trips to the postseason that we've made, the stadium renovations that are in the works and the growing fan support, it is an exciting time to be at Mizzou. Each season presents exciting challenges and I look forward to the continued growth of our baseball program."
Jamieson's team has won at least 30 games in 12 of the last 13 years.
