Basketball Betting Lines

12/17/2006 - Milwaukee, WI (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Michael Redd and Mo Williams each put up a game-high 28 points, as the Milwaukee Bucks edged the Minnesota Timberwolves, 108-104 at the Bradley Center.

Andrew Bogut contributed 16 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, and Charlie Bell helped out with 16 off the bench for the Bucks, who snapped a two-game losing skid.

Kevin Garnett poured in 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Mark Blount added 16 and ten boards for the Timberwolves, who have dropped two in a row following a four-game win streak. Ricky Davis scored 15, and Mike James donated 14 and dished out six assists.

Up by two at the start of the fourth quarter, the Bucks shifted into high-gear to protect the lead.

Brian Skinner's finger roll with 3:39 to go upped Milwaukee's margin to 98-91, but Minnesota reeled off five straight points to cut their deficit to 98-96 with 2:47 remaining.

Bell's rolling lay-in gave the Bucks a 101-98 lead with under two minutes to go, and Bogut's put back of a Redd miss made it 103-100 with 1:15 left.

James came right back with a jumper and it was 103-102 with 1:06 left. However, Bell's three-point play created off a steal in the T-Wolves end boosted the lead to four, 106-102 with 33 ticks remaining.

Davis then sank one-of-two from the line with 29 seconds to go, to close the gap to 106-103, and on the Bucks' next time down the court, they turned the ball over on a 24-second violation.

With 5.7 seconds left, Trenton Hassell inbounded to Garnett, and he headed to the line for a pair. Garnett missed the first off the back of the rim, but hit the second. On the next possession with 4.1 to go, Williams sank a pair of free throws for a 108-104 score.

Davis' desperation three-ball from the right side with time running out fell way short, and the Bucks walked away with a hard-fought win.

Minnesota led 28-21 after one quarter of play, but the Bucks outscored the T- Wolves 24-23 in the second quarter, and they were down 51-45 at the break.

Michael Redd singlehandedly led the comeback charge with 11 third-quarter points, as the Bucks caught fire with 31 points in the frame to take a 76-74 lead heading into the final 12 minutes.
