Terms of the deal were not disclosed for the 28-year-old veteran, who spent his first seven NHL seasons with the Los Angeles Kings. Keane played 1,161 NHL games with Montreal, Colorado, the New York Rangers, Dallas, St. Louis and Vancouver from 1988 until 2004. He spent the past five seasons with Manitoba.
